ALLEY CATMaybe many aren't voting, but I would think that 35 to 40% of the cats I see have their front bumpers removed. 21% seems low???

I myself was a two year holdout. Dropped off those cup holders and the look is now clean and complete.

Call 911 - there is a Prowler in my garage....

LARRY SALZMAN - MESA, ARIZONA

CTProwlerAlley Kat---I would have thought the same thing. But i was at New England Prowlers Owners gathering in NH last weekend, and out of 11 kats just mine and one other had the Tom Mills relo light kit. Rest had bumpers. Some people just want to keep it stock, they think in 25 yrs or so it will be worth more. It isn't my problem i'll be dead!!

Dale BeamanI would like to take by front bumpers off but the price of the various kits are way over priced IOM. I am waiting until I see a reasonable priced alternative. Hope to check out a lot of various modifications at the Smokees!
CatDudeWhen I checked it... it says 28%... You have to add the "yes, front" (20%) to the "yes, front and rear" (8%)...

These were the percentages when there were 333 votes.

cmblockhusMine are off but I cant vote, says I already did.

mount the lights from you bumpers behind the grill and use Real Rod covers he has two different types without lights and much less then the others and look real nice the aero covers are about $300.00 and the flat fill in ones are about $200 I think, give
bob a call

condorI bought my Prowler a short time ago in Ohio and drove it down to Florida. I ordered allready the Turn Signal relocatin Kit for the front and in the rear I will put some BRIZZ Alu Bumper on. ( For the real Hot Rod Look.)
More Info about my trip will follow in a other story.
shipMy bumpers came off after the 2001 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour. Tom Mills was the kit that I liked the best. Kept the bumpers, in case an heir wants them back on. The Kat front end lightened up dramatically when they came off.
cnote6Mine are off but I cant vote, says I already did.
ed monahanEveryone makes their ...and own decisions making the car a work of art in progress.
Pick up a fender and see how much it weighs.

Bcoffman Gray GhostAnyone who still has them on, ever take one off and hold by your little pinky, will forget about keeping them on as protection from any more that one nat hitting them. They weigh about 18 oz. apiece.
CJI happen to like the bumpers......especially now that they are painted!
ALLEY CATDamon - Thanks for pointing that factor out,,,,,now shows 29% combined.

Painted bumpers do look kool,,,,,and makes the front view of cat look narrower

they only need to survive through a 5mph crach test any faster and the drop engine takes all the pressure so let me reiderate if you get in a 6mph crash your cars is wrecked

GeneI have same problem as Block Buster, each time I vote it says I've already voted????
DR PROWLERAlmost every Prowler around here has front and rear bumpers with maybe one or two exceptions.
My personal opinion is they look O.K. especially painted(mine should be ready tomorrow).
FL Blue KatPersonally I think the Kat looks GREAT with or without its bumpers but then I also think that removing the rear bumpers has the greatest visual impact -- JMHO

Richard JacksonI like my front SILVER bumpers painted, but left the rears black for contrast and to show off the shimmers..I never liked a PT Cruiser until I saw a turbo with painted bumpers, now my spouse drives one. I think it makes for a classy look.
